As part of Wales Tech Week by Technology Connected, the Centre for Photonics Expertise (CPE) is proud to be taking part through a series of webinars.
The CPE Bangor team, led by Dr James Wang, have demonstrated an imaging technique that allows a normal lab microscope to resolve 100nm features. Furthermore they have extended this work to another super-resolution application to achieve a nano-laser marking device, proving to be an interesting solution for the counterfeit protection industry or in the field of nanocircuits.
Welsh Opto-Electronics Forum have arranged an Innovation Conference in joint collaboration with CPE (Centre for Photonics Expertise), ASTUTE 2020 project (Advanced manufacturing), and SPARC II project (Photovoltaic). This will be taking place on Thursday 5th March at the OpTIC Centre, St Asaph.
CPE are excited to announce that work is now underway for the installation of a state-of-the-art vacuum coating research facility.
WORIC and the Centre for Photonics Expertise (CPE) teamed up to dazzle children and parents attending the Swansea Science Festival held at the National Waterfront Museum this weekend on 26th-27th October.
